Tip Top Oatilicious Burger Buns 6pk – Soft Oat-Infused Burger Buns for Everyday Meals and BBQs

Description – Tip Top Oatilicious Burger Buns 6pk

Tip Top Oatilicious Burger Buns 6pk are soft, everyday burger buns designed with added oats to deliver a familiar white bun texture with a subtle wholegrain boost. Created for burgers, sandwiches, and BBQ meals, these buns provide a light, fluffy interior and a soft golden crust, making them a versatile staple for Australian households.

The base is made using wheat flour and water, forming a soft dough structure that is strengthened with wheat gluten for improved elasticity and bite integrity. This ensures the buns remain light and airy while still holding together when filled with meats, vegetables, or sauces.

A key feature of this product is the inclusion of wheat grain oats (13%), which are blended into the dough to add texture, mild nutty flavour, and a slight wholegrain character. These oats are designed to be subtle, allowing the buns to still appear and function like classic white burger buns while offering additional grain content.

Sugar is included in small amounts to support browning and enhance flavour balance, while vegetable oil contributes to softness and moisture retention. This helps ensure the buns remain tender throughout their shelf life.

Yeast is used for fermentation, allowing the dough to rise and develop a soft, fluffy crumb. Iodised salt enhances flavour balance, while emulsifiers (481, 472e, 471) help maintain dough consistency, softness, and structural stability.

Soy flour is included to improve dough performance and nutritional profile, while barley malt flour contributes mild sweetness and helps enhance crust colour during baking. Vitamins such as niacin, thiamin, riboflavin, and folic acid provide additional nutritional fortification.

The texture of Tip Top Oatilicious Burger Buns is soft, slightly airy, and easy to bite through, making them suitable for burgers, sandwiches, and BBQ fillings. The crumb is even and light, allowing sauces and juices to absorb without causing the bun to collapse.

The flavour profile is mild and neutral with a subtle oat grain note, making these buns suitable for a wide range of fillings including beef burgers, chicken burgers, vegetarian patties, and deli-style sandwiches.

The 6-pack format provides convenience for families and meal planning, ensuring multiple servings for different occasions. Each bun is uniform in size and shape for consistent preparation and serving.

These buns are widely used in Australian households as a reliable everyday bakery option that combines softness, versatility, and a mild wholegrain enhancement.
