Description: Monstera 'Esqueleto', also known as the Skeleton Monstera, is celebrated for its remarkable foliage. The leaves are deeply cut and perforated, creating an intricate pattern that is both eye-catching and elegant. This plant belongs to the Araceae family and is a close relative of the popular Monstera Deliciosa. Its striking appearance makes it a standout piece in any indoor garden, providing a tropical ambiance that transforms any space into a lush, green haven.

Care Tips: Caring for Monstera 'Esqueleto' requires understanding its specific needs to ensure it thrives in your indoor environment. Here are some essential care tips:

  • Light: Monstera 'Esqueleto' thrives in bright, indirect light. Too much direct sunlight can scorch the delicate leaves, while too little light can hinder its growth and fenestration.
  • Water: Maintain consistent moisture in the soil without waterlogging. Water the plant when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch, and ensure good drainage to prevent root rot.
  • Humidity: This plant prefers high humidity levels. If your indoor environment is dry, consider using a humidifier or placing a tray of water near the plant to increase humidity.
  • Temperature: Monstera 'Esqueleto' thrives in temperatures between 18-27°C (65-80°F). Protect it from cold drafts and sudden temperature changes.
  • Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix that retains moisture without becoming waterlogged. A mix of peat, perlite, and orchid bark works well.
  • Fertilizer: Feed the plant with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Reduce feeding during the fall and winter months.
